Charles Franklin McKeithan.
Until 2006 my only goal in theater was to try and eck out a living and manage to act when I could. By grace and or providence, I was introduced to Ron Gasparinetti while working at CityLights Theater on the set of Jesus Christ Superstar. We quickly became fast friends and discovered that our strengths and weaknesses matched so well that there was no question we should go into business together. In January of 2007 we formed Thrust Scenic Design and Construction, and in a seemingy short years span of time have already provided over thirty seven fantastic sets for the Bay Area Theater community to work on and enjoy. More about Thrust can be found here!
I'm not willing to admit to being old yet, but I have a wide range of exposure to life, from the high tech world to the base concrete jungle of prison life, major construction sites, to Scottish historic research, trailer parks to high society ball room functions. It's been a very busy number of years.
I am seeking to simply make a living doing what I love, not big stardom. And though I have talent and drive, I am realistic enough to know I've got my work cut out for me.Though I am very confident in my abilities, the greatest gift my father gave me was the ability to shut up and follow orders when it's time to work.
Hope to work with you soon.
